School’s Out for Summer!
Planning a day trip to one of the many historic villages in New Jersey? Do you have a favorite spot at one of NJ’s historic shore towns? Maybe you prefer sailing on a historic lake or tracing the steps of our forefathers? Sometimes its just a simple picnic in a historic park.
We’re looking for YOUR favorite such places, and just for sharing, you might even end up a big winner! Be sure to submit your nominations by noon on August 3rd. From August 3rd through August 10th, we’ll run an online poll, asking the public to vote for the top pick of the submissions we’ve received. The nominator of the site that collects the most votes will WIN A FREE WEEKEND IN NOVEMBER AT LEITH HALL, one of Cape May’s premiere historic inns, and a $50 GIFT CERTIFICATE TO CUCINA ROSA, rated one of the area’s best Italian restaurants!

Stephanie and I have been corresponding, but I still don’t see Cadwalader Heights and our Annual Historic House Tour on the list above. I thought it would be added to the list of nominees by now (today is July 31st). I can’t ask anyone to vote until I know we are a nominee! Please advise.

We do have Cadwalader Heights Park and neighborhood in Trenton on the list (please see the most recent post). The nomination was not on my list when this post was published. We will be running the poll from Monday, August 3rd (starting late afternoon) through close of business August 10th. We will post the link to the poll on this blog, our facebook page and our website so you can direct those to vote for your site at that time.
