National Trust Announces 2009 “11 Most Endangered Historic Places” in the U.S.

April 28, 2009

The National Trust today announces their 22nd annual list of America’s “11 Most Endangered Historic Places.” This year’s sites span the country, as well as decades and resource types. Visit the National Trust’s blog to view the list, details about the sites, and information on what you can do to help the plight of these endangered properties, as well as updates on previously-listed sites and what the national publicity garnered by a listing of this nature can do for a site in trouble. And don’t forget, Preservation New Jersey’s 2009 list of the “10 Most Endangered Historic Sites in New Jersey” will be announced on May 19th- we’d love to see you at the release and for you to spread the word!

I would like to know where I can get an application to recommend the Villa Maria Sanitarium in North Plainfield, NJ as one of the 10 most endangered sites for 2010.

Please respond to the e-mail address above.
