You can provide Testimony. Tell your story about linking historic places with the great outdoors

July 12, 2010

In April, at the White House Conference on America’s Great Outdoors, President Obama established the America’s Great Outdoors Initiative to develop a conservation and recreation agenda worthy of the 21st century and to reconnect Americans with our great outdoors. Now, join senior representatives of three key federal agencies for a public listening session and discussion on historic preservation and its relationship with conservation, recreation, and reconnecting Americans to the great outdoors.

This is the only one of the sessions currently planned to address historic preservation and cultural resources for this major Presidential initiative. A strong turn-out could make all the difference to whether our historic preservation issues are included as priorities or not.

Pre-register for this free listening session by Thurs., July 22. To pre-register, email to: and provide your name & organization.
